It was a tiny roadside shop beside a running drain. Yet the aroma was unmistakable. The flavours of fresh vegetables, spices and good old Indian ghee all combined to make this small trip really special. It was a concoction of sugar and spice and some really heart-warming friendship.
It was after a long time I was out with my friend. In spite of my dampening 'retrousse' my friend trudged on to give me a taste of the better.
I never realised before this how sweet the little things in life are. My experiences over the last one year have been teaching me the farce of external pomp. In the end it doesn't mean a thing. What matters are real people and real values. But then here I am rambling into verbosity again...
The point is, I have learnt my lesson.
I enjoyed being with my dear, dear friend (read friends).
And I had some delicious, lip-smacking Pav-bhaji just on the road!
