Faith

Faith, how sweet her voice,
That sang to me on a night so dark,
The hand that rocked me to sleep,
That guided me to Neverland.

Faith, her beauty that knew no second,
Her fair face iridescent like the moonlight white;
Her eyes did see through my soul waif-like,
Her rosy lips did press a kiss.

A shelter for the broken heart,
A lesson for all hope futile,
Her bosom was a haven warm,
For the child frail and crying too.

Oh Faith!
How soft the touch of your hand
That caught the tears from mine eyes,
I once was lost but now have found,
The path that leads to your arms.
