So here we are.... another New Year........"new" as an adjective. Gone are the days when I used to make resolutions. They just never work.... I never manage to keep them anyway. Last year was quite a nice one. Not too many things out of the ordinary but I did meet a number of amazing people. Most importantly I made three best friends, and I can't believe I'm saying this. People who know me would probably realise the weight of these mundane words,the cynical girl that I've become. I had stopped believing that anything called "best friends" ever existed. I was starting to be convinced that it was simply an idea all children blanket themselves in before the cold, ruthless wind blows it away. I guess, as someone keeps telling me, I just hadn't met the right people before this.
By the way, I did make small promises to myself. I promised myself I would try my utmost best to keep in touch with the people who genuinely care to and make an even greater effort to stop feeling miserable because of the people who don't.
I had a great year guys and hope to have a good one this time around with just a few changes.
